My dad had cancer and we moved to Lee’s Summit, having a baby shortly after moving. I’ve said that my dad’s sickness changed me. I asked questions and grew in my faith. I learned to lean on God. Moving four hours away from family (and not having jobs) was not easy, especially with a new baby. But moving to Lee’s Summit and finding New Beginnings was a great move. We’ve grown in our faith and been inspired to serve in new ways.

Now I’m looking for a new change in environment.
